Social institutions of Stavropol early began the heating season
In Stavropol officially started the supply of heat to educational and preschool institutions

In the Stavropol region officially started the supply of heat to educational and preschool institutions. In the conditions of a sharp autumn cold snap, the heads of municipalities of the region decided not to wait for regulatory deadlines and to ensure a comfortable temperature regime in social facilities in early October.
Today, the heating season began in kindergartens in Stavropol, Kislovodsk and Shpakovsky district. The head of the regional center Ivan Ulyanchenko and the mayor of Kislovodsk Evgeny Moiseev instructed to connect preschool institutions to the heating networks, promptly responding to the requests of parents. In Shpakovsky district, warmth was received not only in kindergartens, but also in schools.
It is worth noting that a number of municipalities worked ahead of schedule: in Pyatigorsk and Lermontov, batteries in social institutions became warm last Friday. As for the housing stock, in most territories of the region, the decision to supply heat will be made later - when stable cold weather is established.
The impulse to early start of heating was the order of the Governor of Stavropol Vladimirov. At a weekly meeting in the regional government, the head of the region urged municipal leaders to focus not on calendar dates, but on real weather and citizens’ appeals.
“The cooling has already come to the Stavropol Territory. Make the decision to supply heat on time, responding to people’s requests. First of all, this concerns social facilities – kindergartens, schools and hospitals, Vladimir Vladimirov said.
According to the Minister of housing and communal services of the region Alexander Ryabikin, the readiness of the region for winter reached 95.4%. To ensure the uninterrupted operation of systems in municipalities, more than 40 emergency trainings were conducted, having worked out the interaction of services in emergency situations.
The need for rapid intervention of the authorities is confirmed by meteorologists. The Stavropol hydrometeorological center warned of night frosts up to -3 degrees. Despite the fact that during the day the air still warms up to +19, significant daily temperature changes make staying in unheated rooms unsafe for children's health.
Recall that according to the general rules, the heating period should begin at the established average daily temperature below +8 degrees within five days. However, the flexible approach initiated by the head of the region allows social institutions to switch to winter work in advance.
Earlier it was reported that the readiness of Stavropol for the heating season exceeded 95%.
