Salt room will open in the children's clinic Cherepovets

In October, a halo chamber will open in Cherepovets Children's Clinic No. 1. The final preparations are now being completed. This is reported by the regional Ministry of health.

The appearance of the halochamber became possible thanks to the financial support of Apatit JSC. The company regularly helps the clinic and supports significant social projects. The head doctor of the institution Svetlana Egorova noted that thanks to such support, new opportunities for physiotherapy treatment appear in the clinic.

The design of the salt room doctors developed independently. In a small space there is a marine world with sun, sea, gulls, dolphin and soft illumination.

Halotherapy is recommended for children from six years old with chronic diseases of the ENT organs and respiratory tract. The method is based on treatment in the microclimate of salt mines, and the main therapeutic effect is created by an environment saturated with sodium chloride aerosol.

The new halochamber will be able to use not only patients of children's polyclinic No. 1, but also children who are observed in other medical organizations.
