Hundreds of appeals per week: what residents of the Ulyanovsk region complained about

Natural landfills were eliminated in several municipalities of the Ulyanovsk region. Garbage was removed in Zavolzhsky and Zasviyazhsky districts of the regional center, as well as in Staromaynsky and Radishchevsky districts after prosecutorial intervention.

At the same time, the inspections addressed issues related to children. In Inzen and Ulyanovsk districts, the prosecutor’s office identified and sought to eliminate problems in the field of security of minors and provide them with medical care. The specific circumstances and number of such cases in the published information are not specified.

Work was carried out in other areas as well. During the week, prosecutors personally received 112 residents of the region, and in total, more than 300 appeals were received for consideration.

A separate block of inspections concerned counteraction to the legalization of criminal proceeds. There were 35 violations in this area.

Inspections were carried out in other municipalities, including in Veshkaim and Melekessky districts. In the field of view came safety on the roads and in medical institutions, compliance with labor and sanitary requirements, as well as violations of legislation on countering extremism.

In parallel, work in the courts continued. During the week, representatives of the prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in 54 criminal cases.

The appeals of residents became only one of the areas of work: inspections touched on communal problems, child protection, labor relations, security and compliance with the law in various fields.
