The press service of the Kostroma Emergencies Ministry reports that within the framework of the All-Russian educational campaign “One First Aid Lesson”, the rescue department staff visited the city secondary school number 18 on September 17, where they introduced the children to the concept of “first aid”, and also showed how and in what conditions it can be provided. The students trained to assess the condition of the conditionally injured person – to identify signs of deterioration, to check the reaction and breathing.
In addition, students under the leadership of the Emergencies Ministry worked out an important technique - giving a stable lateral position to the victim.
Experts emphasize: during such classes, students not only learn the sequence of actions, but also learn to remain calm and confidently make decisions in stressful conditions.
