Specialists of the State Vodkhoz of Crimea cleared 10 kilometers of coastline

Employees of branches of the state institution "Krymmeliovodkhoz" completed a series of environmental actions, clearing a total of 10 kilometers of coastline. In Bakhchisarai and Pervomaisky districts collected more than two cubic meters of garbage, and in Belogorsk district for schoolchildren held a lesson of eco-volunteering, reports KIA.

Employees of the Pervomaysky branch organized the final Saturday on the RF-3 channel (“Black Sea Distributor”). Participants brought order to the strip: removed weeds, sediments and household garbage. 2.8 kilometers of coastline were cleared, the volume of collected waste amounted to 0.84 cubic meters.

Pervomaysky branch acts as the coordinator of environmental actions in the region. During the year, the team organized 13 environmental activities. Among them are ecological subbotniks at water bodies and reclamation network, as well as educational activities: environmental lessons in schools aimed at forming a responsible attitude to natural resources in the younger generation.

Specialists of the Belogorsk branch conducted a lesson of eco-volunteering, uniting students of three Cossack classes in Zelenogorsk secondary school. The speaker of the event was the director of the Belogorsk branch of Krymmeliovodkhoz Oleg Kushprak.

During the presentation, the children got acquainted with the water bodies of the Belogorsk district. In an interactive game form, the Cossacks identified the risks arising from an incorrect attitude to nature, and then jointly formulated the rules for environmental behavior on water bodies.

Special attention was paid to the practical side of volunteering. When summing up the results, the students told about their experience of volunteering: during September, they wove camouflage costumes at volunteer lessons - so hard the young Cossacks expressed support for the participants of the SVO.

“The young Cossacks of the Zelenogorsk school supported the proposal of the Belogorsk branch and decided to become participants in the action “Water of Russia”: within the framework of the project in 2027, the children plan to join the cleaning of the coastline of the Burulcha River,” the head of the enterprise said.

Environmental subbotniks on water bodies and coastal territories of Crimea are held regularly. In April 2026, student detachments of the republic held large-scale subbotniks in the forest and park areas of Simferopol - the action gathered more than 100 young activists.

In February 2026, the participants of the program “Sevastopol – City of Heroes” cleared the shore of the Round Bay, collecting about 5 cubic meters of garbage and clearing the coastal strip with a length of 300 meters.
