Specialists of "Smolenskenergo" prepared the car fleet of the branch to work in winter

Power engineers of the Rosseti Centre-Smolenskenergo branch carried out preventive maintenance of all vehicles as part of the preparation of equipment for the autumn-winter period. Specialists checked the key components and assemblies of cars, the efficiency of electronics, satellite monitoring of GLONASS.

Special attention was paid to the energy sector to snow wetlands and tracked vehicles with high off-road passability.

At the same time, the fleet is being updated: this year, the branch received 10 new Sobol brigade cars, which were sent to the Ugra, Dukhovshchinsky, Temkinsky, Shumyachsky, Novoduginsky and Khyslavichsky districts of electric networks, as well as the service and management of the branch.

By the end of the year, it is expected to receive three more cross-country brigade vehicles on the chassis of GAZ Sadko Next, the Sobol brigade car and the URAL multifunctional vehicle.

Given the climatic features of the region and the remoteness of power facilities from the bases, much attention is paid to the professional training of drivers. Theoretical course and practical training in the framework of the crash driving program were held by 117 employees of the branch.

The fleet of the Smolenskenergo branch has 796 units of automotive and special equipment, more than 430 cars go to the line daily. Among them are large-sized equipment: cross-country brigade cars, hydraulic lifts, electrical laboratories and freight transport.
