The main objectives of this event are to strengthen control over the organization and conduct of hunting by citizens and officials of users of hunting grounds, as well as to identify the facts of illegal hunting and poaching. In addition, among the priorities is the improvement of forms and methods of interaction with law enforcement agencies and hunters in order to eliminate illegal wildlife mining tools, including weapons and ammunition.
Special attention is paid to the intensification of preventive work, including with the local population, to obtain information on illegal hunting and storage of prohibited wild animals. Particular emphasis is placed on the voluntary surrender of such weapons.
The Minsk Regional Inspectorate for the Protection of Animal and Plant World asks citizens to assist in identifying, suppressing and preventing violations in the environmental sphere. In particular, we are talking about the provision of information on poaching facts, including information about the illegal tools of hunting wild animals stored by citizens, as well as hunting and fishing products in vehicles and homes. Separately, information is requested on persons prone to illegal hunting and on those who may have prohibited mining tools.
Information on the facts of poaching and barbaric attitude to objects of the animal and plant world can be reported to the round-the-clock helpline of the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Animal and Vegetable World under the President at the numbers: +375 (17) 300-00-79 and +375 (33) 333-60-00.
