Sports ground installed in Zubtsov on behalf of Vitaly Korolev

In Zubtsov, a sports ground has been installed in the courtyards of houses along Victory Street, Governor Vitaly Korolev informed.

Recall that in September, when Vitaly Korolev was in the Zubtsov district on a working visit, the head of the region was told about the need to install a sports facility, since the guys lacked space on a small playground. Vitaly Korolev supported this initiative and instructed to promptly work out the project.

In addition, Vitaly Korolev spoke about plans for the systematic development of sports infrastructure both in Tver and in small towns of the region. He also paid attention to this topic on the Direct Line on November 5.

The head of the region recalled that in 2026, with the support of the All-Russian Athletics Federation, a running center was opened, 10 sports grounds were installed together with Sber, and 10 more were installed under the regional program. Work was also carried out at the stadium in ZATO "Lake", the martial arts sports school in Rzhev and the weightlifting hall in Bezhetsk, a school stadium was installed in Sonkovo.

For 2027, it is planned to repair the Kristall pool in Bologom, at the Vagzhanov stadium in Tver. We will install 5 flat sports facilities in municipalities, 9 small grounds for the delivery of GTO standards and two “smart” sports grounds, the governor said.

In Tver, the necessary decisions were made to complete the protracted overhaul of the Proletarka pool. As Vitaly Korolev specified, the work goes to the finish line. The pool is expected to open to residents in the coming months.

Also in 2027, it will be necessary to commission an indoor football arena in Tver. In addition, the stadium "Chemik" needs a large-scale reconstruction. The Governor noted that he sees great potential for the development of this sports facility located in the city center. Negotiations are underway with potential investors.
