Athletes from Karelia went to Mexico for the world Cup kickboxing

The tournament will be held on October 16-17. According to Victoria Pankrat, shortly before departure, the cost of the flight jumped twice. As a result, the flight in both directions with a transfer in Istanbul required 666,000 rubles. In addition, about a quarter of a million (250-300 thousand) went for accommodation.

Initially, it was assumed that the participation of Stepan and Ivan will be enough half a million or 600 thousand. The sports club does not disclose the exact amount of funds collected, but it is known that some of the funds were provided by patrons, and the rest was collected among close and caring people.

Victoria Pankrat expressed gratitude to all citizens who provided financial support, as well as those who disseminated information on social networks.

The honor of the Russian team will be defended by fighters from the capitals and the Republic of Karelia. Among the delegation is the winner of the national championship Stepan Pankrat, who deserved a place in the national team, as well as Ivan Andrienko, who stood at the origins of Karelian Thai boxing and runs the FIGHTER gym club (he will compete for medals among veterans).

The geography of the participants covers 12 states and a half dozen Mexican states.
