“Immediately climb to check the eggs”: Americans have revealed the shocking habits by which they unmistakably recognize a Russian in a US supermarket
There are habits that are difficult to get rid of even after moving to another country. And American supermarkets are great at showing how different we are in everyday household trifles.

The first sign by which it is supposedly easy to recognize a Russian buyer is eggs. We rarely take the first package we get. First, be sure to open the box and check whether all the eggs are intact and in place, writes the Zen channel “Success of Russia”.
One Russian-speaking buyer said that when he arrived in the United States, he automatically opened a package of eggs. The woman standing nearby was so surprised that she even stepped aside. For her, it was strange why she even checked the goods on the shelf.
The second habit concerns products with a limited shelf life. Russians often reach deep into the refrigerator, choosing milk, yogurt or cheese. The logic is simple: the further the packaging costs, the more likely it is that it has an expiration date later.
The same thing happens with fruits and vegetables. We can choose apples, cucumbers or avocados for a few minutes, carefully examining each specimen. A bad color, spot or too soft fruit can cause it to return.
Another characteristic feature is the desire to choose the best. Even if we have a huge box of vegetables, many will go through the food for a long time until they find exactly the option that seems the most successful.
But there is a habit that betrays the Russian buyer even faster. After chips, semi-finished products and ready-made food, a person can completely calmly pass by and go looking for sour cream, cottage cheese, kefir, fermented cheese or cheese cheese. For many Russians, these are so familiar products that without them, a trip to the store seems incomplete.
One of the buyers admitted that the first thing in the American store is looking for something similar to sour cream. With cottage cheese, the situation is more complicated, and cheese cheeses at all have to be searched especially carefully
Of course, such habits can not really determine the nationality of a person. But they have a curious feature: moving to another country, we change the language, work and lifestyle, but some household reflexes remain with us for a long time.
Check the eggs, choose products from the far shelf, go through the fruits and look for sour cream - it seems small. But it is from such small things that the usual way to buy products develops.
