During the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!” more than 40 thousand people took part in forest planting events, more than 6.2 million trees were planted. The importance of such initiatives on the air of the talk show “Budni” on “SBTV” and “Alfa Radio” told the Chairman of the Belarusian party “White Russia” Olga Chemodanova, writes sb.by.

Olga Chemodanova noted that forest planting has become an annual unifying event in Belarus. And trees are planted not only in autumn.

- More and more people are involved today. These are not only employees of enterprises, ministries and departments, but also citizens who are willing and eager to contribute. Many Belarusians are not indifferent to the preservation of the natural potential of the country. People have learned to maintain cleanliness and order on the streets, create comfortable conditions in green areas, she said. Our country is a country of rivers, forests and lakes. Today, these places attract not only Belarusians, but also guests. Belarus has become a truly attractive tourist destination.

As the guest of the program noted, people tend to relax in nature and want to see it natural. Here, not only water bodies nearby are important, but also beautiful forests, natural landscapes, flora and fauna of a particular area.

- Unifying forest planting activities in Belarus will continue. It is especially important that representatives of new generations will participate in them, the speaker is sure. Anyone can participate in such work: there are no extra hands in this case. You can join the action in each district center. The Ministry of Forestry informs citizens in advance about where and how the work will take place.

From October 1 to October 31, 2026, an autumn month for cleaning, landscaping and landscaping is held in Minsk and Minsk region. Olga Chemodanova stressed that residents also respond to this initiative:

- Belarus differs from other countries in that participation in the improvement is not limited to one Saturday. Most of the preparatory work takes place in advance. In a few days, and sometimes more, people realize that you need to take rakes and broomstick, go outside. First of all, this applies to those who restore order near their enterprise and on the adjacent territory. Minsk is a cultural capital, so there can be no disorder here.
