A student from Shakhtersk won the All-Russian festival of video content "Palette of regions"
Student of the A Mining College of Film and Television

A student of the A.A. Khanzhonkov Mining College of Film and Television Roman Sologub took first place in the category “Storytelling” at the All-Russian Festival of Youth Video Content “Palette of Regions”.
“It is the result of hard work, creative search and team support. We are proud that our students adequately represent their native land at the all-Russian level, the school said.
The festival brought together young authors aged 12 to 18 years from all over Russia. Participants presented their works in ten nominations – from short films and animation to video blogs and music videos. The competition was serious, and winning a category like Storytelling requires not only technical skills, but also the ability to build a story, hold the viewer’s attention and convey the main message.
The support of the Ministry of Culture of the Donetsk People’s Republic played a special role in the preparation and participation in the festival. Thanks to the attention of the department to the development of creative education and youth initiatives, college students have the opportunity to implement their ideas, participate in competitions of national scale and receive recognition at the highest level.
A.A. Khanzhonkov Film and Television Mining College is the only educational institution in the Republic that trains qualified specialists for terrestrial and cable television studios, cinemas and cultural institutions. The institution was opened in 1974 and over the years has trained about 4000 specialists. Today, the college cooperates with leading universities of the DPR and Russia, including the St. Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television.
The college has created a unique base for the development of the film industry: the Museum "Profession of Cinema" is opened, the cinema "KinoMIR" operates. Within the framework of the federal project “Invented in Russia”, the first school of creative industries in historical regions is being created here, where schoolchildren of grades 5–11 will master six areas – from sound engineering to virtual and augmented reality.
The victory of Roman Sologub is another confirmation that creative education in Donbass is reaching a qualitatively new level. We are proud of our students and teachers! New creative victories!
