Court: ex-director of the House of Creativity in Diveyevo appropriated 700 thousand rubles

The former director of the House of Creativity of Diveevsky District was convicted of abuse of authority, appropriation and embezzlement. This is reported by the SU IC of the Russian Federation in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The woman was detained in April 2025. In 2021-2024, holding the post of head of the institution of additional education, she fictitiously hired several people to the post of secretary-typist. She herself and her subordinates entered deliberately false information into the time sheets and sent documents to the accounting department - on this basis, employees were charged salaries. Some of the money the offender took and disposed of at its discretion.

In addition, it is established that she forced employees to give her part of the bonuses for personal purposes. In total, she appropriated more than 700 thousand rubles.

The court imposed a sentence of five years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 4.5 years. She was also deprived of the right to hold positions in the civil service and in local self-government bodies with the performance of organizational, administrative and administrative-economic functions for 2.5 years.
