The trial of sim boxes in Novosibirsk will begin on October 14
The October district court of Novosibirsk has scheduled for October 14 the first hearing in the criminal case on the illegal use of sim boxes.
According to the investigation, at the beginning of 2026, the defendants were part of an organized group and for monetary remuneration carried out the instructions of its organizer. The men provided the work of sim boxes in Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk, in fact performing the functions of employees of the so-called “technical center”.
The investigation believes that with the help of this equipment, other members of the group committed fraudulent actions against citizens. Illegal activity was revealed by the FSB of Russia in the Novosibirsk region.
The case involves Dmitry Buzov, Dmitry Butrin, Dmitry Lukyanov, Vyacheslav Medvedev, Dmitry Mironenko and Dmitry Mischenkochuk. They are charged with the illegal use of equipment to pass traffic by an organized group in order to commit another crime, which entailed serious consequences.
Earlier, “MK in Novosibirsk” reported that the investigation of this case was completed and the materials against the six accused were sent to the October district court for consideration on the merits.
