The Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod region declared bankrupt the former co-owner of the TNS energo group of companies Dmitry Arzhanov on the claim of NES LLC. It follows from the court file. The debt of the entrepreneur to the company is estimated at 200 million rubles. Earlier, Arzhanov himself filed for bankruptcy: the amount of confirmed debts was then estimated at 1.7 billion rubles.
In August 2026, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow sentenced Dmitry Arzhanov to 18 years in a strict regime colony for the theft of almost 15 billion rubles from IDGC of Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. Former General Director of TNS energo Sergey Afansyev and Executive Director of TNS energo Nizhny Novgorod Boris Shchurov appointed 17 years, and Sofia Afanasyeva — wife and Deputy Sergey Afanasyev — 16 years with a deferred sentence until the execution of her child 14 years. The convicts were also fined from 39.9 million to 856.9 million rubles.
