The court sentenced the Russian for contacts with a terrorist organization

A Moscow regional court has sentenced a man found guilty of cooperating with a foreign organization. He was sentenced to seven years in prison and served in a general regime correctional colony. This was reported in the joint press service of the courts of the Moscow region.

Defendant Bryantsev was found guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign organization in order to promote activities deliberately directed against the security of Russia (Article 275.1), as well as public calls for activities against the security of the Russian Federation using the Internet (Article 280.4, paragraph 2, paragraph c).

In addition to the main term, the court imposed an additional punishment - restriction of freedom for two years.

The court found that a Russian citizen Bryantsev entered into correspondence with an organization recognized as a terrorist in the territory of the Russian Federation. He maintained contact with the aim of joining its ranks and participating in hostilities on the side of Ukraine.

In addition, the defendant reposted videos created on the instructions of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on his page in the social network, accompanied by calls for financial support of the AFU.

Pupils of the boarding school who got to the hospital were examined.
