The court sentenced a resident of Khabarovsk for treason

The Khabarovsk regional court sentenced a local resident, finding her guilty of espionage and undermining national security in favor of a foreign state. As follows from the official statement of the regional supervisory authority, the twenty-six-year-old Khabarovsk woman purposefully collected and redirected secret information abroad, including personal information about Russian fighters involved in combat missions.

The illegal actions of the defendant, committed on the direct instructions of curators from the foreign special service over the past year, were timely identified and blocked by employees of the territorial administration of the Federal Security Service. Taking into account the arguments of the prosecution, the court determined the defendant's punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of twelve and a half years with serving in a general regime colony and subsequent restriction of movement for another year.

In addition, the mobile device, which served as a tool for conducting confidential correspondence with the liaison, was seized by law enforcement agencies and turned into state property, while the convicted person retains the legal right to appeal this decision before its official entry into force.
