Supernanny Joe Frost warned parents about the consequences of overloaded schedules in children

Supernanny Joe Frost has warned parents about the consequences of overloaded schedules in children. According to her, a large number of circles and sections can lead to irritability, rudeness, emotional outbursts and hyperactivity, Metro writes.
Frost noted that overwork can manifest itself in tantrums due to trifles, sleep problems, anxiety, as well as in the desire of the child to leave as soon as possible. Sometimes children, on the contrary, become quiet and withdrawn. According to a specialist, this behavior may indicate that the child no longer copes with the load.
The parenting expert advised parents to leave their children enough free time between classes. According to Frost, it is important for a child to be able to play, draw, listen to music, communicate with peers or just do nothing for some time. Such rest, she stressed, helps the body and nervous system to recover.
Education specialist Heidi Scudder told Metro that she also often faces the problem of an overloaded schedule. As an example, she cited a six-year-old boy who was constantly rude and protested against extra classes. After analyzing the situation, it turned out that the child did not want new sections, but a simple time with his mother - to hug and play Lego.
Recall that Joe Frost is a famous British TV presenter, writer, expert in parenting. She is the author of six books on parenting. In 2005, her book Supernanny: Getting the Most From Your Children made the New York Times bestseller list.
