The complex is a welding robot manipulator with a burner. It is equipped with a technical vision system and specialized software. “The system adjusts the trajectory of the robot in real time, automatically scanning the surface, and ensures the quality of the seam for any deviations in the geometry of the part,” the company explained.

The main innovation is the optical laser system. According to experts, it allows you to quickly scan the product, create its digital twin and program the welding process without a traditional learning remote (teach pendant). “This significantly reduces the time of transition from one part to another, which is especially important for small and medium-sized enterprises with a large range of parts and frequent readjustments,” the State Military Industry Committee said.

“Such systems in the world still exist in single instances and are only emerging from the development stage. For Pelenga, this is a new direction in industrial automation, the State Military Industry Committee added.
