Sverdlovsk foresters, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted 350 joint raids
State forest inspectors of the Sverdlovsk region since the beginning of 2026 conducted more than 13 thousand preventive raids

State forest inspectors of the Sverdlovsk region since the beginning of 2026 conducted more than 13 thousand preventive raids. This is reported by the Department of Information Policy of the region.
This year, 2.3 thousand patrol routes with a total length of about 120 thousand kilometers were approved. As the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Mamontov noted, prevention is a key element of fire safety in forests. Patroling helps not only to quickly identify violations, but also to conduct explanatory work with residents. At the same time, even against the background of the end of the fire season, it is impossible to reduce vigilance: the human factor remains the main cause of forest fires.
Together with forest inspectors, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and local self-government bodies participate in raids. Since the beginning of the year, more than 350 joint raids have been conducted. This approach allows you to keep the situation under control and quickly respond to violations.
The inspectors are actively informing residents of the region about the rules of behavior in the forest: they conducted more than 9 thousand interviews and distributed 4.5 thousand leaflets on fire safety. Until the official end of the fire season, patrols will continue in enhanced mode.
Work to protect forests from fires is carried out within the framework of the national project “Environmental Well-being”.
Earlier, MK-Ural wrote that this year foresters will conduct more than 19 thousand patrols to protect the forests of the Sverdlovsk region. They will pass and travel 857,000 kilometers.
