The anti-terrorist agenda is extremely relevant for Belarus. Our country survived the terrorist attack in the Minsk metro in 2011, the events of 2020. The geographical position of the country also increases the risks of threats. This was announced on the sidelines of the Counter-Terrorism Forum by Deputy Secretary of State of the Security Council Alexander Neverovsky, sb.by correspondent reports.

- It is necessary to cooperate with all interested bodies, SCO and CIS member states in order to effectively counter terrorist threats. Only the timely receipt of information can be an effective tool to deter such threats.

Digital footprint and artificial intelligence pose particular risks. Citizens themselves can resist recruitment attempts, Alexander Neverovsky believes.
- I would advise all citizens to hear what we are saying about new forms and methods of influencing them to engage in illegal activities, to feel such attempts and not to respond to these messages.
