The priest urged the Penzens not to panic because of the prophecies

The priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, Father Nicholas, spoke about three phenomena that, in his opinion, echo biblical prophecies. We are talking about natural disasters, cooling the faith and spreading false prophets.
The first alarming sign he called frequent floods, fires and earthquakes. The priest recalled the words of Christ that before the end of time there will be "glazes and pestilences and earthquakes in places.".
The second signal is the weakening of faith. According to him, many young people are less interested in spiritual life, and the usual ideas of good and evil are gradually blurred. Father Nikolai said that people live in a world where lawlessness has become the norm and love for others is rare.
The third sign is the rise of false prophets. According to him, both on the Internet and in everyday life, there are more and more people who call themselves spiritual teachers, but at the same time distort the church teaching.
The priest urged not to panic. He stressed that such warnings are needed not for intimidation, but for spiritual vigilance. The main thing, he said, is to keep faith, pray and live according to the commandments.
