More than 550 violations and 95 lawsuits. The Prosecutor’s office monitors the state of roads in Khakassia

Supervisory officers monitor road safety. Since the beginning of the year, more than 550 violations have been identified and stopped in the republic, 95 lawsuits have been brought to the court and more than 200 submissions have been submitted, after consideration of which 82 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility, 17 to administrative responsibility, 116 announced warnings about the inadmissibility of violating the law. In addition, three criminal cases were initiated on the basis of materials of prosecutorial inspections.

The prosecutor’s office of Khakassia also specified that after inspections, 11.3 km of roads were repaired and defects of the roadway with an area of 1.3 thousand square meters were eliminated. On 49.1 km of roads, horizontal road markings were restored, two markings of a pedestrian crossing were applied, 31 road signs, 6 traffic lights and 30 meters of fences were installed, etc.

So, the prosecutor of Abakan checked the roads, which capitalized from 2021 to 2024. Many defects were found on the road surface: destruction of asphalt and curbs, drawdowns and potholes. After the intervention of the supervisors, everything was repaired.

On the recommendation of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Ust-Abakan district, the contractor completed the repair of the section of the Prigorsk-Erbinskaya highway. At the request of the prosecutor, the arbitration court recovered from the contractor in favor of the Askiz village council losses - 224 thousand rubles - for non-fulfillment of obligations under the contract for road repair.
