Tambov deputies decided the fate of the problem collector on the Bastion, Trunk and Aviation

At a meeting of the Tambov City Duma, parliamentarians voted to adjust the concession agreement relating to cold water supply and sanitation systems. The changes affect the sewer collector with a diameter of 600 mm, located in the area of Bastionnaya, Magistralnaya and Aviatsionnaya streets.

This object was recognized as ownerless in 2023 and transferred to municipal ownership. However, it was never included in the current concession agreement, which is why RKS-Tambov was not actually engaged in its maintenance. This situation has created emergency risks for years and caused fair complaints from citizens.

According to city Duma deputy Alexei Zhuravsky, parliamentarians kept this issue under special control. They repeatedly went to the site together with representatives of the administration to find a legal and effective way to unleash a long-term knot of problems that affected both residents of neighboring houses and employees of nearby enterprises.

The solution was found: the administration proposed to include the collector in the concession agreement. This will allow you to quickly restore its operability and ensure proper technical maintenance. The legal basis for such a step already exists — part 6 of Article 51 of Federal Law No. 115-FZ allows the transfer of ownerless objects technologically related to networks to the concessionaire-guarantor organization without bidding and without coordination with the FAS.

The implementation of the solution will close a long-standing gap in the maintenance of urban infrastructure, improve the reliability of the drainage system and make the life of Tambov residents in this area more comfortable and safer.
