On Saturday, October 10, a mass planting of trees will be held in Tatarstan as part of the All-Russian action “Save the Forest”. The Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan invites residents and guests of the republic to join the event.
The action will be held in support of the goals of the national project “Environmental Well-being” and is aimed at the restoration of forests, the formation of a culture of respect for nature.
The head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravilya Kuzyurova, said that the All-Russian action “Save the Forest” will be held at a hundred sites, they planned to plant more than a million trees. He hopes the participants will be active.
There will be three sites near Kazan: on the territory of the forest fund near the villages of Voronovka and Orel of the Laishevsky district, near the Chebaks railway station of the Soviet district of the capital. The action starts at 10 a.m. Organizers will provide everyone with planting material and tools.

In 2025, 2.5 million seedlings were planted in Tatarstan on an area of 700 hectares, 20 thousand people participated. The event was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency, ANO “Memory Garden” and FEAD “Ecosystem”. The goal is to plant 70 million trees.
National projects of Russia are large-scale state programs aimed at the development of key spheres of society. They are among the main tools for achieving the national goals approved by the President of Russia and the strategy for socio-economic development of the country until 2030.
