Telegram-channels of the Minsk-News Agency and the Minsk City Executive Committee were attacked by bots

The official Telegram channels of the Minsk-Novosti agency and the Mingorispolom were subjected to an information attack. This was stated by the General Director of the UE “Minsk-Novosti Agency” Andrey Krivosheev, the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

According to him, the resources massively poured bots to compromise. Only one Telegram channel in the first half hour came more than 3 thousand bots.

Let me tell you right away that we are not panicking. As the Minsk-Novosti agency, this is not the first time we have faced such situations, Krivosheev said.

He said all the bots would be removed.

- Information terrorists and extremists will not achieve any goals. If, after cleaning our Telegram channel, real subscribers suffer from bots, I apologize in advance. Write to us about it in a chatbot, the general director of the Minsk-Novosti agency added.

Minsk-Novosti does not cheat bots and acts in accordance with the ethics of the Belarusian Union of Journalists.
