Tomichi will compete for the main award of the award “Russia – my horizons”
Two educational projects of the Tomsk region made it to the final of the All-Russian career guidance award “Russia – my horizons”

The first finalist in the category “Regions – drivers of the Unified Career Guidance Model” was a special course of extracurricular activities developed by the team of the regional education department under the leadership of Yuri Kalinyuk. The main feature of this program is a deep connection to local realities and economic needs of the region.
Students not only study abstract specialties, but also get acquainted with popular professions on the example of leading Tomsk enterprises, whose specialists personally participate in the creation of educational materials. According to Yuri Kalinyuk, this approach within the framework of the Ticket to the Future project helps children see a direct link between their career and the development of their native land.
The second finalist, but already in the individual nomination “Step forward”, was a teacher of Tomsk school No 54 Margarita Levashova. Her author’s program “The Way Forward: The Trajectory of the Profession” was created specifically for psychological and professional support of adolescents from at-risk groups aged 13 to 17 years. A unique technique helps children cope with complexes, believe in their own strength, reveal hidden talents and make an informed choice of career path.
The final results of the competition and the names of the winners will be announced at a ceremony in Moscow on September 30.
Earlier, "MK in Tomsk" reported that two volumes represented the region at the All-Russian Congress of Parent Committees.
