Trump announced the return of money to a businessman from Russia for the wedding of his son

US President Donald Trump said that his eldest son returned the money that he spent on part of the wedding events. The American leader said this in response to a question from Agence France Presse.

According to Trump, after he learned about the situation, he asked his son about it. He, according to the US president, promised to return the money received and subsequently did so.

The wedding of Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina took place in May. In September, the publication “Project Public” reported that the lease of one of the private islands and fireworks paid for the President of the International Boxing Association and the owner of “UNC Holding” Umar Kremlev.

Trump Jr. previously said that he maintains a personal relationship with the Russian businessman. Bettina Trump also called the Kremlin a close friend and reported that he organized for the couple two nights of celebrations after the wedding. However, according to her, he did not participate in the wedding celebrations.
