Tram No. 7 in Omsk temporarily will not run due to the repair of tracks

Residents of Omsk are warned about the temporary termination of the movement of trams route No. 7. The reason is the overhaul of the tramway on Chelyuskintsev Street: the work will affect the site from 10th Kremeslennaya Street to Kemerovo Street.

According to the Department of Transportation, the restrictions will be introduced in two stages. The first - from 20:00 on October 13 to 05:30 on October 14, the second - from 20:00 on October 15 to 05:30 on October 16. Night time is chosen to minimize inconvenience for citizens and not create congestion during peak hours.

Experts expect that such a schedule will qualitatively replace worn track elements and extend the service life of the tram line. Passengers are advised to think in advance how to get to the right points and pay attention to alternative modes of transport. The city administration assured that after the completion of repairs, traffic on route 7 will resume as usual.
