M-8 highway in the Yaroslavl region was blocked for a special operation of security forces

On the night of September 18, the road network of the Yaroslavl region was transferred to special control mode.

From 1:50 am, the movement of transport on the exit from Yaroslavl towards the capital on the federal highway M-8 was completely stopped.

The restrictions were lifted at 6:20.

According to official sources, this section of the road was involved in a large-scale security operation conducted by the Defense Ministry units together with other law enforcement agencies.

Details of the work carried out are not disclosed in the interests of the investigation and state security.
