“Three Sanders” is not for nets: Kuzbass pensioners caught 160 fish and received a suspended sentence

Two pensioners from the Kemerovo district decided to fish on the pond "Three Peskers" on the Malaya Mokhovaya river. But instead of the ears, a criminal case awaited them. It turned out that the men used forbidden gear and chose the wrong time - the height of spawning.
As reported in the Kemerovo district court, friends climbed into a rowing boat and put two fixed nets of fishing line length of 50 meters each. Such fishing gear for amateur fishing is prohibited. And the period was inappropriate - spawning.
The result of the “fishing” is impressive: 125 carpenters and 35 pikes. But the joy was short-lived. Damage to aquatic biological resources was estimated at 127 250 rubles. On the shore of the men, an inspector of the department of state control, supervision and protection of aquatic biological resources was waiting. He found the fish in the boat.
In court, pensioners fully admitted guilt, so the case was considered in a special order - without long proceedings.
