Primorsky district court of St. Petersburg chose a measure of restraint for three more minor participants in a mass brawl near the shopping mall “City-Mall”. The investigation asked to send the teenagers into custody, but the court refused to satisfy the petitions and ordered them to ban certain actions until December 7. This is reported by the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.
According to investigators, on the evening of October 7, six young men came into conflict with three men and beat them. During the brawl, teenagers struck the victims with their hands, feet and knees on the head and torso. One of the participants was holding an object that looked like a gun.
Earlier, the court chose a measure of restraint to two other defendants in the case: the minor was appointed a ban on certain actions, and the young man who reached the age of 18 was detained until December 7.
We will remind, on the evening of October 7 at the shopping center there was a massive fight. Videos of eyewitnesses showed objects resembling pistols and machetes. In total, six people are involved in the case - five teenagers and an 18-year-old boy.
One of the passers-by, a man in a briefcase cap, decisively rushed into the thick of events, trying to stop the fight. Other people followed his example. Thanks to their intervention, the fighters fled before the police arrived. Law enforcement arrived at the scene about an hour after security was called, but the hooligans were gone.
