Workers of Ryazan are waiting for a four-day working week

A resident of the Ryazan region was reminded of the work schedule on the eve of the Day of National Unity.

Tuesday, November 3, will officially become a shortened working day - its duration will be reduced by exactly one hour.

In 2026, November 4 falls on Wednesday. According to Article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the day immediately preceding a public holiday should be shorter than the standard one. National Unity Day remains an official non-working day in Russia.

The holiday date will divide the work week into two parts. Residents of the region expect the following schedule:

2, 5 and 6 november – normal working day;

november 3 (tuesday) - a shortened pre-holiday day;

november 4 (wednesday) is a day off.

This schedule actually forms a four-day working week in the period from the second to the sixth of November.
