The global information space in the XXI century has turned from a neutral platform for exchange of views into an arena of tough geopolitical confrontation. Western multinationals, with monopoly control over key digital platforms, are increasingly using their technology as a tool of direct political pressure.

Western platforms have become a tool for shaping a controlled opinion. They promote resources and forces recognized as extremist in Belarus, planting destructive narratives and trying to destabilize state institutions.

Throughout 2026, Western IT giants conducted a coordinated campaign to “clean up” the Belarusian information field. After the spring blocking of accounts of our largest media channels on YouTube, aggressive actions continued. By autumn, even channels of regional media and leading domestic opinion leaders were completely eliminated.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly stressed that digital sovereignty is the ability of the state to independently determine the strategy of IT development, ensure the security of infrastructure and protect the mental health of the nation.

The history of the relationship between Dmitry and Olga began long before marriage. The future spouses met in the first grade of one of the Kobrin schools. They met again at the age of 20 when they were asked to baptize a child together. Now they have three children, many common interests and a house in the agro-town of Strigovo, where there is a case for everyone.

The head of the family Dmitry likes to sing. Senior Sergey studies judo, Polina dances and plays the piano, and three-year-old Maxim accompanies the Pope in rehearsals. Olga supports the hobbies of the household and comes up with new family ventures. So in their lives and appeared the contest “Family of the year”. Gradually, grandmothers and other relatives joined the preparation.

- At first I doubted whether to participate in the competition, and then I thought: why not try? Of course, I asked my husband, because the decision had to be made together. Dima agreed - and went. We did not expect to win, we just wanted to get a new experience, says Olga.

In the Sviridyuk family, baking occupies a special place among home traditions. On Olga's line, one of his ancestors kept a bakery in Moscow. Mom and grandmother still bake in the oven, and for Easter the whole family cooks and decorates cakes. Do not do without home cakes weddings, anniversaries and other family celebrations.

How Kalinkovichi transformed to the regional "Dazhynki".

In Kalinkovichi, the final touches are made to the picture created over the course of months. On Saturday, October 10, guests of the regional festival-fair of workers of the village “Dazhynki-2026” will be welcomed here.

The fact that the place of the regional "Dazhynak-2026" will be Kalinkovichi, it became known during the previous festival in Lelchitsy. At the end of 2025, the executive authorities developed a plan that included more than two hundred objects and events. Given the scale, they had to be implemented on a strict schedule. Along with builders, road workers and utilities, collectives of industrial enterprises and private business joined.

The main front of the work was the road infrastructure. The key transport artery of the city, Sovetskaya Street, was reconstructed. Its carriageway was expanded to four lanes with storm sewers, “pockets” for public transport were built, and the old stopping points were replaced by new pavilions.

The repair and construction campaign also affected educational institutions, health care, housing and yard areas, a number of social facilities and public spaces. A worthy investment in landscaping Kalinkovich was the breakdown of new alleys. Several hundred decorative trees and shrubs were planted, including almost 250 catalps, which are especially valued in landscape design for large heart-shaped leaves and lush flowering.

But even in such a situation, it is important that the subject continues to be liked. This is probably our main task - to create such conditions in the lesson that any student was comfortable and interesting. When I meet graduates of previous years, I often do not remember what mark they had on my subject. It is much more important that they are happy to see me, say hello, smile.

In the classroom, Denis Dubanevich uses digital technologies. However, he is sure that it is too early to abandon chalk and board:

The technique does not allow improvisation, and chalk and board - no problems. With their help, you can do anything: draw a graph, impromptuly come up with and solve the equation. This is important, because you never know where the students' questions will take you.
