In the Tula region, activities are continuing within the framework of the II stage of the operational and preventive operation “Illegal-2026”. Its purpose is to detect and suppress violations of migration laws, as well as block illegal migration channels. During the raids, police officers recorded new cases of organizing “rubber” apartments.
So, in the Kireevsky district, the district police of Russia discovered the fact of fictitious registration of foreigners. According to law enforcement officers, a 31-year-old resident of the city of Lipka registered six foreign citizens in his apartment on Oktyabrska Street at once, while in fact they were not provided with housing.
Another episode was revealed by officers of the Volovskoye police department of the inter-municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Bogoroditsky. It was established that a 40-year-old resident of Dvoriki village issued a fictitious migration registration for five citizens from Central Asia. The man reliably knew that foreigners would not live at the specified address - in the village of White Kolodez.
Police are conducting procedural checks on both cases. The possibility of initiating criminal cases under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of stay in a residential premises in the Russian Federation”) is being considered. Sanctions under this article provide for a fine of 100 to 500 thousand rubles or imprisonment for up to five years.
The police emphasize that fictitious registration of foreigners is a criminal offense. If citizens have information about the facts of illegal residence or fictitious registration, they are asked to report to the nearest police department or by calling 102.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” wrote that the Tula police raid covered 54 illegal immigrants in the region. More in our material.
