A native of the Tula region, singer Alexei Vorobyov, who first became a mentor of the show “Voice. Children”, took an unusual step during blind auditions. The singer deployed the chair after the completion of the performance of the participant to give him the opportunity to get into the team, reports the portal woman.ru.
The hero of the episode is a young Ramadan, who performed the jazz composition Sing, Sing, Sing. However, the number ended before any of the mentors managed to press the button and turn to the performer. When it became clear that the participant would be left without a team, Vorobyov asked him to sing again.
Then the artist independently unfolded the double chair, in which he sat with his wife, opera singer Aida Garifullina, and pressed the red button. So Ramadan got the opportunity to continue participating in the project.
“Welcome to the family, you are on our team,” Vorobyov said.
At the same time, the singer admitted that he is not sure whether such rules of the show are allowed, but decided to take a risk for the sake of the talented performer.
The act of the mentor caused surprise among the presenter Yana Churikova and other participants of the project. But Vanya Dmitrienko, also a member of the mentors, supported the decision of his colleague. Such a situation, as noted, happened in the history of the show for the first time.
According to the rules of Voice Children, mentors must press buttons during the performance of contestants. After the end of the room, the opportunity to deploy the chair is not provided, so the act of the Tula artist Vorobyov actually became an exception to the established order.
It is not yet known whether this will have any consequences for a native of the Tula region. There were no official comments from Channel One about the incident.
We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” wrote in more detail that Alexei Vorobyov was included in the mentors of the 13th season of “Voices. Children” together with Aida Garifullina.
For a native of the Tula region, this is the first experience in the project in this capacity. But the artist is known not only for his musical career, but also for his work in cinema.
In 2011, Tulyak represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf.
