Tula SK explained how to abandon dangerous tasks of recruiters
Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Tula region warned about the increasing attempts to involve teenagers and young people in serious crimes

The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Tula region warned of increasing attempts to involve teenagers and young people in serious crimes. As told “MK in Tula” in the press service of the Ministry, recruiters operate through the Internet, offering money for the execution of seemingly simple instructions.
Among them can be photographing infrastructure, arson and the transfer of unknown packages.
In other cases, attackers resort to intimidation and blackmail. They threaten young Tulas with reprisals against loved ones or pose as intelligence officers to force the teenager to fulfill their demands.
The Ministry recalled that criminal liability for crimes of terrorist and sabotage originates from 14 years. At the same time, punishment in the Tula region threatens the perpetrator directly, even if he acted on the instructions of a person with whom he met on the Internet.
However, the law provides for the possibility of voluntary renunciation of the crime. This principle is enshrined in Article 31 of the Criminal Code. If a person independently and finally stops preparation for a crime or refuses to bring it to the end, he can avoid criminal liability for this crime. However, refusal does not exempt Tulaks from punishment for other illegal acts that have already been committed.
The Investigative Directorate advises Tula youth not to continue communicating with suspicious interlocutors, not to fulfill their instructions, not to agree to meetings and not to transfer things, bank cards or equipment to strangers. If such offers or threats are received, it is important to save correspondence, take screenshots and record phone numbers, links and accounts of interlocutors.
Tell parents, teachers, or other adults you can trust. You should also contact law enforcement on 102 or call the single emergency number 112.
We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” told about the schemes that are used by attackers to recruit minors through chatbots dating.
Criminals manipulate teenagers, exert psychological pressure on them, blackmail and even threaten criminal prosecution.
Because of this, minors may be afraid to tell their parents about what is happening and seek help. The details are in our material.
