With the onset of autumn cold, electric heaters become especially popular, but if used improperly can cause a fire. In the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Tula region, readers of MK in Tula were reminded how to safely use heating devices.
The heater should be installed on a stable surface and kept away from furniture, curtains and other flammable items. You can not dry clothes on the device and leave it on unattended. When leaving the house, the heater should be turned off. It is also important not to use faulty devices.
Rescuers warn that even a few minutes of inattention can lead to a fire. If a fire has started, call 101 or 112.
We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” reported a fire in the dormitory on the street Puzakova in Tula. On the morning of October 10, ten people were evacuated from the building. No one was hurt.
