Tulyak Shaman suspected of using someone else's song

Around the song “Russia-Mama”, which was performed by a native of the Tula region Yaroslav Dronov, known under the pseudonym SHAMAN, a copyright dispute arose. Musician Alexander Nezvanov claims that the composition, for which the singer released a video in 2026, was written and published by him back in 2023. However, the circumstances of possible copyright infringement have yet to be established.
Nezvanov’s claim was registered in the Moscow Arbitration Court in mid-August. The author himself lives in the Chelyabinsk region. His song "Russia-Mama" appeared on the Internet in March 2023, and at the end of May 2026, Tulyak-SHAMAN presented a video for the song.
The discussion caused not only the question of authorship, but also the video sequence of the video. It uses images generated by the neural network of people recognized as foreign agents. Producer Pavel Rudchenko, commenting on the video for Gazeta.Ru, noted that such a technique can be perceived ambiguously and affect the reputation of the performer. Lawyer Boris Gerasin also drew attention to the possible legal risks of using images of recognizable people without their consent.
Lawyer Yaroslav Mikhailov told Newsler.ru that he had signed a contract with Nezvanov and was preparing documents to protect his copyright. According to Mikhailov, if the parties do not agree on the use of the song by October 12, he intends to claim compensation for damages in the amount of 10 million rubles and contact the police. The lawyer also said that he tried to contact SHAMAN and its representative, but failed to agree on a conversation.
Nezvanov himself claims that he wrote the music and lyrics of the song in January 2023, and on March 3 released it. He learned about the possible coincidence from friends who offered to listen to the new composition of Shaman. After that, the musician found his own recording and compared it with the version of Tulyak Yaroslav Dronov. According to Nezvanov, the melodies and performance seemed almost identical to him, although the tone of his recording differed.
Nezvanov said that after the registration of the claim tried to contact the representatives of the singer, and then sent a pre-trial claim to the email address indicated on the website of the artist. According to him, he received no response. At the same time, the publicly presented results of the examination, which could establish the circumstances of the creation and use of the composition, are not yet available. Therefore, it is premature to talk about proven copyright infringement by Tulyak Yaroslav Dronov.
We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” wrote about the new song SHAMAN “Farewell, my love”, which Tulyak Yaroslav Dronov released on October 1 together with a video in black and white. According to the artist, the composition is dedicated to parting, when the mind already accepts the loss, and the heart is not yet ready to let go of a loved one.
And another nuance. Earlier this fall, Shaman revealed a career-threatening diagnosis for the first time.
