As part of the XIII District Meeting of Student Detachments (RSD), the first meeting of the Coordination Council for the Development of the Movement in the Novgorod Region under the leadership of Governor Alexander Dronov was held. The meeting participants summed up the results of the year, Deputy Head of the region Elena Komarova said in the MAKS channel.
Today, there are 36 student detachments in the region – more than a thousand young fighters. They do not just study theory, but actively participate in real work: they build facilities, help in agriculture, work in hotels and children's camps. Special attention is paid to adolescents: labor squads give children the opportunity to take the first steps in adulthood under the supervision of experienced mentors, Elena Komarova said.
A vivid example of how quickly a good idea turns into a successful project is the Karamazov service team at the Staraya Russa resort, she continued.
Back in the winter, the concept of such a detachment was discussed, and in the summer, 50 students from different regions helped the resort cope with the influx of guests. The guys showed themselves well, so such formats will continue to develop, the deputy governor noted.
Following the meeting, the governor gave a number of instructions. In particular, it will be necessary to consider how to involve construction teams in the construction of the university campus, as well as explore the possibility of involving medical teams in hospitals in the region. Another important decision is to establish a passing honorary banner "The best student detachment of the Novgorod region": for the first time it will be awarded at the end of this year.
