The former deputy of the Yelets City Council confiscated real estate and millions of rubles of unreasonable income. The decision on the anti-corruption claim was made by the court, the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of the Lipetsk region reported.

During the inspection, it turned out that in 2023-2024, the MP purchased real estate worth more than 44 million rubles. However, the parliamentarian could not prove the legal origin of the funds spent.

The court decided to withdraw 13 premises, 6 land plots and more than 29 million rubles for previously resold objects. The verdict must be executed immediately. Earlier, due to the revealed violations, the deputy was deprived of his mandate due to loss of trust.
