A pensioner from Molodechnensky district illegally stored weapons, ammunition and prohibited fishing gear at home

A 67-year-old man in Molodechny district illegally stored weapons and ammunition. This was reported in the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Regional Executive Committee, writes sb.by.

As reported, at the place of residence of a 67-year-old resident of the district, employees of the Molodechnensky ROVD together with the Molodechnensky district inspectorate of natural resources and environmental protection found 4 guns, more than 300 rounds of various calibers, 600 g of gunpowder, as well as about 70 m of fishing net, a fishing lift and a slingshot for fishing, prohibited for use.

Discovered tools of illegal hunting and fishing seized, weapons assigned ballistic examination, the results of which the actions of the pensioner will be given a legal assessment.

The Molodechny ROVD recalls that illegal actions in relation to firearms, ammunition and explosives are criminally liable under the article. 295 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, and for the same actions in relation to hunting firearms smoothbore weapons and ammunition for it - administrative responsibility under Art. 24.46 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
