Participants of the program “More than a journey” got acquainted with the potential of Kalmykia

In Elista, the intensive program of Rosmolodezh “More than a journey” continues. The B. B. Gorodovikov Youth House became a platform for exploring the republic, where guests of the international festival from Vietnam, Benin, Belarus, Argentina, Serbia and Kazakhstan gathered.

Interactive expositions were held for the staff of the institution. Participants were able not only to learn about the activities of the organizations, but also to test their ingenuity in solving Kalmyk puzzles, as well as attend master classes on national dances. Special attention was paid to the work of the branch of the center "Warrior".

The central event of the day was the installation session dedicated to the presentation of the potential of Kalmykia. The main goal of the meeting was the desire to open the republic from a new perspective and show young leaders how they can get involved in solving urgent problems of the region. Heads of ministries and departments of the republic took part in an open dialogue with the guests. The result of the work will be the development of own projects aimed at the development of tourism between Kalmykia and foreign countries. Participants will present their initiatives to the leadership of the region.

The day continued with the visit of the delegation to the regional center for the development of gifted children. The guests were presented with white Hadaks and treated to Kalmyk tea with Borzogs. The staff of the institution held a presentation, telling about the key tasks of the work, after which the participants organized a tour of classrooms and laboratories.
