Blow for 30 thousand rubles: the owner of the Pskov horse

The Pskov district court considered the case on the claim of a local resident in the interests of a minor daughter to an individual entrepreneur. The woman demanded compensation for moral damage, the press service of the courts of the region told “MK in Pskov”.

According to the materials of the case, at the end of May 2025, the plaintiff with a child born in 2020 visited the Vozrozhdenie equestrian sports club in the village of Piskovichi. On the territory of the club, the horse hit the girl with a hind hoof in the stomach and forearm. Initially, the plaintiff asked for 200 thousand rubles, then reduced the requirements to 50 thousand.

The court found that the individual entrepreneur is the legal owner of a horse, which is a source of increased danger. The situation occurred on the territory of the club, the activities of which are controlled by the defendant.

Taking into account the bodily injuries of the child, which did not cause harm to health, and the suffering suffered, the court recovered from the defendant 30 thousand rubles of compensation for moral damage, as well as the costs of paying for the services of the representative.
