Ulyanovets paid half a million rubles for hooliganism after the ban on leaving the country

A resident of Ulyanovsk had to pay off a large fine after the intervention of bailiffs. A man convicted of hooliganism owes the state 500 thousand rubles. It was possible to achieve payment after the debtor was restricted from traveling abroad.

The story began with a court decision, according to which the Ulyanovsk man was sentenced to monetary punishment for committing hooliganism. The fine amounted to half a million rubles. However, in the prescribed period, the man did not fulfill financial obligations, therefore, the bailiff service employees took up the collection of debt.

The executive proceedings were held in the branch of the Ulyanovsk Federal Service for the Ulyanovsk region, serving the Leninsky district of Ulyanovsk. As part of the enforcement, the bailiff issued a decree on the temporary restriction of the debtor's right to travel outside the country.

Such a measure could affect the man's plans if he was going to go abroad. The regional department of the FSSP suggests that it was the prospect of remaining without a foreign trip that could become the decisive argument for repaying the debt. At the same time, the department does not provide information about specific plans for the Ulyanovsk travel.

After the introduction of the restriction, the man transferred the entire amount required. The fine in the amount of 500 thousand rubles was repaid in full, and the enforcement proceedings were completed. The earlier ban on leaving Russia was also lifted.

The bailiff service notes that the temporary restriction of foreign travel remains an effective way to influence debtors. The opportunity to miss a planned vacation, a work trip or a meeting with relatives often encourages citizens to pay their financial obligations faster.

At the same time, such measures are applied in the framework of enforcement proceedings and in accordance with the grounds established by law. After fulfilling the requirements of the executive document, there is no need for further restriction.

Thus, the recovery of a large criminal fine in Ulyanovsk was completed after the application of an additional measure of enforcement.
