Ulyanovsk wrestlers won three medals at the All-Russian tournament in Kazan

Three awards were brought by Ulyanovsk athletes from the all-Russian freestyle wrestling competition “Tatarstan-Master”. In the treasury of the team - one gold and two silver.

The main result was shown by Rimma Afanasyev. She became the winner of the tournament among women in the weight category up to 57 kg and climbed to the highest step of the podium.

Two more medals Ulyanovsk won in the men's part of the competition. Ibrahim Veliullov became a silver medalist in the category up to 57 kg, and Ilnar Idrisov took second place among wrestlers weighing up to 86 kg.

The tournament was held in Kazan from 1 to 3 October. All-Russian competitions "Tatarstan-Master" among men and women are dedicated to the master of sports of the international class of the USSR V.F. Markelov.

The athletes were prepared for the performance by coaches Ilnur Ilgizarovich Valiullin and Alexei Viktorovich Borisov.
