Artist Vladimir Baranov died on Saturday, October 10. This was reported by the press service of the Ryazan Theater of Young Spectators. The cause of death was not specified.

Vladimir Baranov was a Soviet and Russian actor of theater, cinema and dubbing. He graduated from Yaroslavl Theatre School. His career began in the Yaroslavl Drama Theater, and in 1979 he was accepted by Zinovy Korogodsky in the Leningrad Theater.

During his life he played more than 70 roles. His filmography includes 88 roles. Vladimir Baranov starred in several seasons of the series “Streets of Broken Lanterns”. He played the part of the precinct.

Since 2013, Vladimir Baranov served in the Ryazan Youth Theatre, where he performed 29 diverse roles. Among his works are Gorodnichiy in The Inspector, Brother Lorenzo in Romeo and Juliet, Melnik in Anna Snegina and Fox in The Little Prince.
