Yanina Kogut, born on May 7, 1951 in Podolsk, was educated at the Ippolitov-Ivanov Music School, where she mastered vocal art. In addition, she was trained at the People’s University of Arts in the direction of “Fundamentals of Acting Arts”.

Prior to her television career, Kogut worked at the Moscow Experimental Theater-Studio Soyuzconcert, which was later transformed into the Theater of Polyphonic Drama under the direction of G. I. Yudenich. In parallel with theatrical activities, the actress also sang in Orthodox churches in Moscow. Widely known among viewers Kogut received thanks to his participation in such popular film projects as “Brother 2”, “Method”, “Snake Noon”, “Mystery of the Lost Village” and others. The total number of her works in film and television is about forty.

On the eve at the age of 88 years died actress Lydia Fedoseyeva-Shukshina. Farewell to the actress will be held on November 10 in the Kuntsevo hall, as reported by RIA Novosti. Fedoseyev-Shukshina is buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.
