Vladimir Alexandrovich Ryabchenko, a famous boxing coach, has died. Kuznetsk administration expressed condolences to his relatives, colleagues and pupils.
It was Vladimir Alexandrovich who founded a boxing school in Kuznetsk. In 1982, he came to the city, where there were no sections, and began to build a sports family from scratch. At first, classes were held in a cramped basement, later a modern hall appeared. He went this way together with the Ring club, and every stage was dear to him.
He was not just a coach, but a mentor who taught not only technique, but also fortitude, discipline, the ability to not give up. His main principle - "to educate a man, not a fighter" - became the basis of the work. Pupils, leaving for the army, wrote to him that it is easier for them, because they already knew what regime, work and responsibility are. Many have become coaches and continue to do so.
Among the students are prize-winners of Europe, masters of sports, world champion in professional boxing Roman Karmazin. Vladimir Alexandrovich gave him the first skills and faith in himself, and then passed on to more experienced mentors. But the main thing for him was not medals, but what kind of people the guys will grow up to be. He was able to find an approach to everyone: and strictly ask, and support, and even become a child to understand.
For Kuznetsk, he is a whole era in sports. His dedication, exactingness and care for the pupils will forever remain an example. His memory will live on in the rewards, halls and characters of those he raised.
