- At the beginning of the XX century, the hotel "Europe" was considered one of the most luxurious places in Minsk. It had 130 rooms, a restaurant, electricity, a reading room and even hairdressers. In 1908, the first elevator in Minsk was installed here. For that time, it was a real technical innovation that made the stay of guests even more comfortable.
